A little about me...

I am a PQ COACH™ trained in POSITIVE INTELLIGENCE®. My focus is on helping leaders navigate change for themselves and their teams to enable them to go from surviving to thriving. I have a proven track record of over 30 years in leadership, development and coaching. I bring a practical, strategic approach that helps individuals and teams get out of their own way to unlock their full potential.
I spent 12 years in retail management, working up to area manager level, where I honed my skills in leadership, developing high-performing teams and coaching. I then retrained in Human Resources specifically workforce Learning and Development and for the past 18 years, I’ve specialised in leadership development, facilitation, and executive coaching, supporting business leaders and organisations of all sizes. Including NGBailey, WolseleyUK, North Yorkshire County Council and H&V Eggleston (Teesvalley based retail SME).
I’m known for challenging traditional thinking, helping clients build their mental fitness, find motivation, and the confidence to drive meaningful change. My focus is always on real-world impact—aligning leadership growth with business success while ensuring personal development feels authentic and purposeful.
On a personal level I have lived experience of Bipolar, Dyslexia, ADHD and brain injury through autoimmune encephalitis. I am passionate about Neurodiversity and creating Neuroaffirmative environments to help everyone thrive at work.
In my free time, you’ll find me kayaking, mountain biking, or hiking—I believe in the transformative power of nature. That’s why I also offer outdoor coaching sessions—blending professional growth with the energy and clarity that comes from being outside.
Award-Winning Leadership Programme
From 2017 to 2024, I led the award-winning leadership development programme at NG Bailey, with over 1,500 people leaders taking part. The programme delivery corelated with a 14% increase in gross profit, 24% increase in completion of performance reviews, 1% increase in staff engagement scores and a decrease in staff attrition rates in 2019. In 2018, we were very proud to win the Lumina Award for Innovation.
